Experience
	Right Now
Currently sharpening and expanding my skills by collaborating
with professionals to work on various projects. Some of the
things involved: VMWare, Apache, Ubuntu, Fedora, Networking,
	Perl, MySQL.

Buses, Trains, and Trails 2011 - Present
	http://busestrainsandtrails.com/is a Wordpress blog that
uses the Google Maps API and GPS data from some of my
backpacking trips to build geographic web pages. This is a long
term effort and I'm just growing this site in the background
	for now.

	DHS Club 2007
Worked with team members and other employees to develop and
maintain various components of the web interface used by members
and staff to manage accounts. Some server administration.

	Fornits 2006
Set up and administered a remotely-located FreeBSD web server
with about 50 domains, for which I had full root access. It had
an Exim mail server, an Apache HTTPD, a MySQLD, PHP, Perl, and
numerous utilities. Worked with webmaster and clients to maintain
	maintain systems and resolve issues.

World Aero Data 2000 - Present
	http://worldaerodata.com/.
It's built on a LAMP stack, with the 'P' being more Perl than PHP.
Extensive textual information on worldwide airports and navaids,
derived from DoD and FAA public domain datafiles. It gets around
half a million page views per month. It runs on a dedicated
FreeBSD server that I maintain. I'm in the process of converting
this server into a virtual environment.
